Elders to sue UK government for injusticesDaily Nation | 23 Nov 2010The Taita Council of Elders is pondering filing a case in The Hague over historical injustices against the community. The council, also known as Waghosi wa Isanga, has called Taita lawyers for a brainstorming meeting on the matter. The councils treasurer Gabriel Nyambu said on Tuesday that they would discuss the possibility of suing the British government for taking away more than 17,000 square kilometres of their land to establish a national park.
