The Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center Funds Education Projects Through NOPPNational Oceanographic Partnership Program | 30 May 2012The Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center is a national partnership of organizations that works to identify skills needed for a variety of marine science careers in order to better prepare America's workforce for ocean occupations. MATE then works with educators, marine industries, professional societies, and research institutions to help develop courses, curriculum, and programs that best prepare students for those careers.
