Le Togo et le Benin, deux pays frontaliers, ont décidé de créer un cadre de concertation en vue de résoudre les problèmes communs liés à l'environnement dans les deux pays.C'est dans ce cadre qu'une rencontre entre les acteurs de l'environnement de ces deux pays a eu lieu le vendredi 16 mars 2012 à Lomé afin de conclure un accord de coopération environnementale.

World Food Prize, Rockefeller Foundation Announce Agriculture Award

According to the World Food Prize, the Norman Borlaug Award for Field Research and Application, endowed by the Rockefeller Foundation, aims to recognize an individual demonstrating the dedication, perseverance, innovation shown by Norman E. Borlaug during his work with farmers in Mexico in the 1940's and 1950s. Nominations should be submitted by 30 June 2012.
