FAO, NEPAD Partnership to Boost Fisheries Development in Africa

NEPAD and FAO have entered into a partnership to promote and improve the long-term sustainable management of both inland and marine fisheries and aquaculture, in support of regional efforts to achieve the MDGs. The partnership uses an Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries and Aquaculture (EAF/EAA), and focuses on climate change adaptation and disaster risk management.
